It might not be as brilliant as Duncan "Son of Bowie" Jones' first film, the Sam Rockwell-starring sci-fi classic "Moon," but "Source Code" is the type of blockbuster we don't see often: one with brains. The plot is relatively straightforward... or so you think, until Jones starts adding in layer after layer of further intrigue. You'll have figured out the ending before the movie gets there, but you'll be having enough fun by that point that you won't care, and you likely won't see exactly how all the pieces fit into place until the final moments, anyway. It lacks the class and layers of "Moon," perhaps, but it'll put just as big of a smile on your face.

Source Code packs quite an emotional punch and, during the final act especially, has a lot to say about the human condition. Its adroit script, sure direction and great performance by Gyllenhaal raise it above the average thriller.

Looking for new films I never seen. Just bought this recently and I’m glad I did! The story is somewhat short but the storyline is really interesting. Without giving away too much it’s a individual hero soldier’s unique mission.

This is an enjoyable movie to watch. It has a very good story line that keeps you guessing. The concept of the movie is good. The special effects were very good. The picture quality in 4K is very good as well.

Good action sci-fi movie with an ending twist. Courtesy a government experiment in time travel, Jake Gyllehaal's character has to relive 8 minutes over and over until he finds a terrorist threating to denote a dirty bomb in downtown Chicago.

It's an interesting movie. If you have never seen it before, then you will be wondering what's going on the entire time. This movie is basically Groundhog day for a movie with more action.

Great movie that definitely gets a more modern makeover with 4k Dolby vision treatment. It’s not the bed looking movie around but it looks better especially the hdr. Fantastic movie well worth a watch.

It’s a really fun movie. I have no clue how it escaped me for years. I love the cast and it’s a fun concept. It could have done more but it also could have done a lot worse.

I remember seeing this one when it first came out. But this new 4K Ultra HD definitely made it worth watching again. The explosions were vibrant and the story line was OK. I remember thinking the original was just so-so. See it again the way it was meant to be viewed and you will not think it was a waste of your time.

Jake Gyllenhaal delivers in this time travel movie. Well acted, great action, fun effects make the movie a winner. Definitely worth the high definition of Blu-ray. You should pick it up if you are a fan of this kind of Sci-fi movie.

Big fan of this movie. The picture quality on the 4K doesn’t seem to be much of an improvement but I love this movie anyway and don’t regret upgrading from the Blu-ray.

I saw this at Best Buy and it was a great price...I vaguely remembered seeing a preview for it a while back and I remembered thinking that it could be good. I decided to give it a try since it was a great price AND it was Blu-ray! My husband and I both enjoyed the movie. It's not a cookie-cutter movie and it was entertaining the entire time. :)

If you liked Edge of tomorrow and Deja Vu, you will like this one. Same concept, less bold, but still effective, and with a sweet ending.

Figured it was time to pick this movie up in 4K. Price was to good to pass on. I also get a 4K digital copy and give my kids the blu-ray.

This is a great suspence action it premise has been done before but its still higly enjoyable especially for a gyellenhal fan

4k is decent upgrade from blu-ray. Pretty good sci-fi that is engaging to find out how it will end. Recommended

Source Code is a rare film that builds on a genre and takes notes from other similar premises and makes something great out of them. Think Groundhog Day, but with action and time travel. A very fun and entertaining ride that doesn't disappoint! The Bluray disc has great picture and sound as well!

Great movie, very rewatchable. Jake is a good actor in this movie. Very thrilling and nice surprise ending in the movie

Saw this back in theatres long ago, and seems to have been forgotten by many. But this is a really great sci fi thriller
