Gift Card Not Activated

Called Best Buy and talked to 3 different people before a rep finally checked with supervisor to discover that while showing as activated, there was hard coded to prevent activation. Received replacements - still not activated. Will try again. If Best Buy has a hard code to not activate certain cards, why are they sending them out again and again, just to be replaced again and again? They should remove the bad product.

Only good for flight purchases

Gift Cards Were Hard Coded to Not Be Redeemed!?!

I called Best Buy and they informed me they were activated but were hard coded to prevent activation. I eventually received replacements but they were still not activated. After this, they refunded me but they should really stop selling these after reading other reviews where they had the exact same issue
