Spaceballs is an absolute blast if you have not seen this film i recommend picking up this best buy exclusive. Not only is it blurry but it comes in a great metal pack although it does seem more like a steel book but I'm not complaining and it is at a great low price and plus my reward points it came out even cheaper! I only payed half price. The only thing I didn't like was the shipping and its not fully best buys fault. Its the shipper and the way its packaged. It was very unfortunate that my metal pack came debated from the back art work. I was very disappointed and sad to see damage on a film I was really looking forward to adding to my collection. I still do plan on exchanging for a new one I just haven't had much time. I think it would be great if Best buy would invest in safer packaging for steel book and metal packs since they are far more delicate than the standard versions. I only there are collectors that feel the same way i do or have experienced my issue.. I know i gave the rating a 4 out of 5 bout the shipping gets a big ZERO!

Back when a movie parody didn't have a generic title like Date Movie, or Super Hero movie, which if anything are a bad joke of parodies themselves. This movie, though poking fun at sci fi, Star Wars in particular, never portrays itself as smarter than the audience and if anything gives it all a great homage, as opposed to insulting like other films that really only discredit the genres. I grew up with this movie and in fact saw it before the actual Star Wars. This is an absolute must have of must have movies. Your dvd collection is incomplete without this hilarious masterpiece. Trademark Mel Brooks moments and references throughout. The comedy will keep you in stitches and rolling on the floor. No, i'm not abbreviating that.

I love this film!! My favorite Mel Brooks film. Saw it 3 times in the theater in 1987. So many quotable lines & scenes you have to watch more than once. A LOT of good extras in the DVD package. Spaceballs the Documentary Where MOST of the cast was spoken to. OK people, where was Rick Moranis? Would have like to have seen him in this. Disappointed that there was no literature with the package & no chapter search list. “They’ve gone to plaid.” Rating for film NOT package

This is one funny film. From the genius Mel Brooks come this spoof of Star Wars and boy does it make you laugh. John Candy is brilliant as Barf the Mog. Half man half dog for those who don't know =) He's his own best friend. I can't even begin to do this film justice by just a simple review. YOU NEED TO WATCH THIS! One of the funniest movies of all time here. Not to be missed, in fact, you need to own this. Enjoy!

i figure that the only reason that you would be looking to buy this movie is if you have already seen it, but i'll cover some basics. Pretty good spoof of Star Wars, dont really see the point of getting it on blueray, but then again it's not really expensive enough for the dvd/blueray decision to mean much. only a few dollars difference. so all in all, i'd say that it's worth it, seeing as you will almost never find it on TV (or at least i was never able to).

Maybe it's because I've been watching this movie since it practically was released, but after all these years I STILL find it hilarious. I can recite practically every scene and never get bored with it. Awesome actors and Mel Brooks is a genius. The DVD menu makes me chuckle too.

Spaceballs was the classic Mel Brooks parody. Taking aim at Star Wars (one of the biggest pop culture sensations), he manages pull laugh after laugh out of this sci-fi farce. The disk itself is short on extras but it's a $10 movie so it's well worth it.

I was very happy to see how great the quality of the picture and sound was. A classic comedy movie that is worth watching over and over again; more so now with the Blu-ray quality.

Spaceballs is a spoof of many popular movies of that time period. It is a bit cheesy at times but still entertaining and funny. it would be a good addition to your movie collection.

The best sci-fi parody movie ever. Mel Brooks was at the top of his game when he gave us this amazing gift. It's the kind of movie I can watch repeatedly which is why I bought the DVD.

Probably my favorite mel brooks film. The sillyness and hilarity is a plenty in this send up of star wars. Lots of great performances in this one.

Always enjoy Mel Brookes films. Lots of laughs andlots of stress relief. Definitely worth getting especially for this price. All are family fun too.

Classic comedy movie. Funny bonus feature to watch at ludicrous speed. Great to find on sale, but its worth the full/regular price too
