This Defender Pro was recommended by my Best Buy technical support specialist with many years experience that this Otter Defender Pro gave "military grade drop protection", in all directions onto a flat surface, and the best protection against cracking this device screen when the Defender cover was closed. Our experience with grandchildren working over concrete floors in our house, has fully supported his advice. The three year-old through adult relatives, have produced to adverse event largely due despite to the design and toughness of this. Printed directions for opening to self support at an angle are difficult to comprehend, but your salesperson can correct that with a quick demonstration.

Got this as a gift. I really like the ability to fold it in different ways to hold the iPad up. The plastic clasp I think would be better as a magnet, but it isn't a problem.

Good protection for my new IPad. It is well padded & can hold the open IPad up to use for reading emails & especially for streaming movies & TV shows. I recommend it highly.

Cover is lightweight and easily accessible. I accidentally dropped my ipad with no screen protector on and the case was still able to protect the ipad.

Good, inexpensive protection for the ipad. Not fancy like some of the others, but offers a decent level of protection for the price.

It's protected the ipad from a drop already, hah. Convenient for pen users. The stand is used all the time with the kids. Would buy again
