It protects the screen. My wife has written a bunch of notes on the inside of the cover, so she has the information she needs close at hand. I recommend this cover.

Good Case

I loved the compare items option before actually making the purchase! It's light, compact, and fast. The only thing I wish different is it included an attachable keyboard. Best Buy also made the picking up easy as well. I chose to pick up at the store, and I just had to show my ID and they had it out within 2 minutes to my car and I was out.

While it fits the 10th generation, which is what I was told it would fit, it is not as easily fitting as the last version of an iPad with a different speck case. It is kind of awkward, but it works.

It has a small hatch on the side that makes it a little hard to open which is good when your young grandchildren try to get into it instead of using theirs.
