I knew buying this I wasn’t getting a heavy duty case like an Otterbox. It’s a solid basic case for your iPad. I am not a fan of the “lock” because I see this breaking within a year but for basic protection this fit my need. Don’t expect this case to take abuse. But for everyday use and some bumps or slight drops it will work fine. I don’t trust the claim of height of drop on the packaging. I got mine on sale for $30 so an inexpensive way to go for protection.

The Speck case is nice quality, nice looking and fully protects the Apple iPad. The BestBuy technician installed the iPad in the case at no extra charge as he was installing the screen protector at the same time.

I chose the Plumberry Purple, but there are many color choices, and I am very pleased that this color was in stock. There are 6 possible positions depending on the slant best suited for the user. Case is thick and I feel it will be very protective. The camera isn’t always exposed because there is a piece of the case that bends back when you are ready to take a picture.

I've had this Speck Balance Folio Case on my iPad for over 1 & 1/2 years and it still looks good. The stitching and seams are holding up surprisingly well considering that the case is being opened, closed, and folded multiple times a day. The elastic pencil holder is still firm, and the plastic latch works the same as when I bought it.

Purchased as a cover for an iPad for my 4 year old, keeps her iPad protected no cracks or dents after multiple drops!

Got this almost a year ago & it’s held up very well! I love that you can prop the iPad up by folding the case. Perfect for work & personal use, including watching videos/movies!

When I first decided to purchase my iPad I knew I needed protection, easy to use and durable. However, I did not want to spend anything over 20. When I saw this one I thought that’s too much but I knew it would do what O wanted and for an iPad I think it’s worth the price. I love that I can level it up down to different stand up levels. It isn’t bulky and fits just right. Oh and I specifically love the little dents, it prevén tea the iPad from slipping
