The snap mechanism of my previous case was easy and I felt secure but since this case is guaranteed to stay shut even with a 4' drop, the snap closure may have opened whereas I don't think this one will.

I did like that it has a flap over the camera as, like many, I seldom us the on-board camera.

I’ve gotten this brand and style for two separate iPads. The first was dropped a few times at least 6in above the 4ft safety window or whatever. No damage to the case except very minor rub and spots that wiped away. I’d not recommend for homes with long hair pets or pets prone to shedding as inside attracts fibers. Still easily wiped away though
