iPad constantly sliding down when propped up

I’m constantly having to prop the iPad back up. The indentations does not seem to be sturdy enough to prevent the tablet from sliding down. This has been happening since I purchased it.

Not the best feel for protecting the face of the iPad, but I had an otter box before this so I’m used to a much higher level of protection

I don’t like that I just had a tab that snapped closed. I know people who have it and love it, I didn’t.
