I like the fact that there is a “clip” type of option when closing the iPad. The corners of the iPad are protected. My daughter has dropped her iPad and the screen has survived. Best $20 spent on a cover!

The cover can be folded two different ways to provide steep or shallow viewing angles; Pretty clever. There's also a latch to keep it firmly closed, but you don't have to use it.

I've used Speck cases for all my Ipads over the years and they have outlasted the Ipad. Versatility is nice being able to open fully or use case to prop up Ipad to use at different angles.

I looked at a lot of different ones and this one was the best as far as specifications. Then after I purchased it approved better. It even has the function where when you close the case the iPad automatically detects on or off.
