Not good for taking pictures

You have to hold it out of the way. I would not recommend this product.

Scratches the iPad

I’ve tried to smooth them out, but the scratches are already there.

Not a good substitute

The little plastic piece that clips it closed on the side broke off about 2 weeks ago (didn’t even make it 2 months) and its very flimsy. We only bought it because it was the ONLY case Best Buy carried for this particular iPad. If we were able to return this we would! But, thanks to coronavirus, I don’t think we are able to return this.
