It is lightweight but still protective. The plumberry purple is a super nice color. I am glad that there is a small flip down section at top of the back to take photos. The front of my ipad is well protected.

I heard about spek cases and read some reviews and decided to buy one myself. Turns out to be a really good case and it fits snug and is scratch proof. However, upgraded to UAG keypad and similar case. The Speck is really great for protection and weigh savings over UAG. GREAT PRODUCT AT A REASONABLE COST.

It seems very sturdy but I will say it seems a bit heavy.the quality seems to be very good but that will be seen in the future since I just purchased it recently. The case keeps the ipad in place and is not too bulky, so its easy to put in a backpack without taking too much space.
