    This was actuallly purchased for my wife for her new iPad and she says there are to many steps to use it. What she wanted was an OtterBox which was out of stock.

    Overall the case fits well and is nice quality. However, there is a lip around the fingerprint sensor and might impede the finger print readability.

    As advertised, this iPad cover states "Auto sleep/wake mode for better battery life." This simply does not work. Closing the case does not put my brand new iPad 10th generation to sleep. You need to press the lock button on the iPad and then close the case. Additionally, opening the case does not auto-wake the iPad - as it's supposed to as stated in the product description. The build quality is excellent. It feels like a durable case that will withstand heavy usage over several years, but because it doesn't auto wake/sleep (which has been industry standard on iPad cases,) I can not recommend it for purchase.

    It is nice but don't think it would protect the tablet if it was accidentally dropped. Best Buy didn't have the OtterBox I wanted
