The iPad Air works with the Apple Pencil 2nd Generation. When I received this product, the packaging said the case is for a 10.9" iPad that works with the Apple Pencil 2nd Generation. The 10.9" iPad (2022) works with the Apple Pencil 1st Generation, not the Apple Pencil 2nd Generation.
