It is adequate protection and the magnetic back holds firmly. I’ve used speck covers before and have been very satisfied. Bought on sale, especially good value.

The first was for an older model and although the case was still in good shape it wouldn’t fit my new device. I love that it covers and protects the camera when not in use. The color is so pretty. The closure works great. Great product!

There are no downsides and the use is straightforward. As far as protection, this case is very good. You can go ahead and purchase a big-name case and pay 3x the price and get very little added functionality.

It is also great for the options for cover positions in reading. It took me a half hour to put my Ipad into the case so...4+ stars. (I don't know I can get it off.)
