It works fine, looks nice, and fits nicely, but she says the plastic is harder than she is used to (based on the cover she had on her IPad 7th gen). She also needs to take it out of the case every few days to put on a special stand in order to teach a class. She has some difficulty removing the IPad from the case, but I was able to show her a technique of pressing near the corners of the case with both thumbs in order to pop it out - a corner at a time.
