Giving up on trying to find a cover that fits

Had to return it. This also happened with a Targus case that supposedly would fit, but clearly did not. Hard to find a cover for a mini except directly from Apple but theirs only covers the front, not the back, of the device. Why Apple designed their mini cover like this is beyond us. We are officially giving up now in the search to find a cover for this relatively new iPad mini.

Sharp edges dig in to your fingers. If you're not on a hard surface, the iPad will NOT stay on base. It will slide flat and when you grab it, you lose what you were doing. I am so irritated that I did not realize how horrible this was before my return window expired!! Learn from my mistake.

No auto screen shut off

While it is a nice case, I prefer one that works with the auto screen shut off. As I only spent $20 on the case (sale price), I can’t really complain. However, had I know that the screen wouldn’t shut off, I would have looked at other options. I would have given the case five stars if it would have worked with that feature. One thing I do like is that the camera is protected with a magnetic flap, rather than leaving it exposed.

I also like the little cover over the camera lens; when folding it back to use the camera, it attaches to the cover because it is magnetic.

Too thick and bulky, and the cover doesn't close all the way so the iPad remains on (no wake/sleep feature). Dealbreaker for me is the fact that this only has landscape mode -- no portrait mode.
