I previously bought the smart folio but it didn’t feel protective at all. It has a compartment for your apple pencil too!

One thing to note is that the Apple Pencil loop can be used for when you want to keep the pencil with the case without using the magnetic attach functionality (which may use some battery - haven’t noticed any excessive battery drain by keeping the 2nd Gen. Pencil attached magnetically)

The adjustable viewing angles are a definite plus along with the camera shield, interior liner and storage capability for Apple Pencil.

The case is very durable. One down fall...it covers a bit to much of the top button to do figure print log in....so I have to type my password often.

Product info says this: “auto sleep/wake mode for better battery life” due to strategically placed magnets in the cover. My recently purchased cover has zero magnets and therefore no snap close cove and NO auto sleep/wake mode. One other review here mentions this problem and I’m surprised they all don’t mention it. Interestingly, the box doesn’t seem to mention this capability but the Best Buy product description has a whole paragraph about it on the Best Buy app. So is it bad info or one bad cover?
