Didn’t hold up as expected

He liked that his new iPad color was visible through the translucent back of this case and still seemed well protected. Unfortunately, that means the back is more of a plastic than rubberized material. As a result, one of the corners has a crack and a chip missing from when it fell on a not so hard surface (the iPad wasn’t scratched at all which is a plus). Also, after only a month of use, the elastic on the clasp that keeps the cover closed has almost completely worn off. He might be a little tougher on the product than an average adult user, but I honestly expected better quality from a brand that’s well known for cases and covers. I would buy the product again, but wouldn’t spend more than $20 based on how easily it breaks down.
