This case is just like the case on my old IPAD, and I couldn’t ask for a better one. I love that it closes and stays closed until I open it. If it lasts like my old one, it’s great for ten years.

This is my second Speck case for my ipad. It is very sturdy and has a positive closure that secures the two sides vs just closing like a book. Has saved my ipad more than once from damage

i bought this case for my mother-in-law who was struggling to find a case that covered the entire body of the iPad. As Apple no longer makes the *Smart Case* (covered the entire iPad), she had been searching on Amazon for iPad cases. Not sure which one to get, she asked me to pick one up for her. i drove to the nearest Best Buy and found this case. My mother-in-law absolutely loves the case and has thanked me repeatedly. She tends to read a lot and the case allows for 3 reading/watching angles. The case itself is light but sturdy, and provides whole body protection. Highly recommend it.

You can't beat the price point on this case. It has a fairly minimal foot print and has the flexibility of multiple angle side viewing. I have not had this for very long but I am but just want to make a comment about other here talking about poor quality and breakage. If you are like me, and take very good care of your electronics I think this case would work just fine. I suspect that some of the images I see that show pieces of the the hard plastic corners being cracked are the result of dropping their device on a hard surface. If your device is subject to that sort of usage then maybe you should be using an Otterbox instead.

While not as rugged as an Otterbox it was also much cheaper. It's also much thinner and lighter, which some people may prefer. The Otterbox Defender case we bought for my wife was $50, which to me is a little too expensive. I paid roughly $15 for this case. Typically phones and tablets get their screen's cracked when dropped and the corner hits the ground. This case will protect your iPad from drops but there's a much greater chance of cracking your screen than with a more rugged case. While nobody plans on dropping their iPad, accidents happen. Overall I do like this case. It's light, thin, cheap, and stands the iPad up very nicely. But you do get what you pay for. That's not the cases fault. It's nice if it's what you're looking for.

As the description suggests, this is a folio protective case, and in that regard it's just fine. But that I wonder, what is the need for the whole origami folds because it does not do the job of a stand. Oh well, so far so good - it's light and does the job.

This is a MUCH better value and alternative to the Apple official offerings. the Protects the iPad perfectly for little kids to use and has a built in clasp for easy closing.
