But once I got it in after some effort, the case serves its purpose - to protect my expensive high-tech toy. I do find the grooves along the protective screen protector flap a great feature to improve viewing while using my iPad on a table. In hindsight, I should go on Youtube to look at a video on how to install the case.

It was a lot less in cost than the Apple version and works great! The hard shell cover protects my newly purchased iPad display so well I didn’t feel the need to purchase a screen protector for the iPad, saving me even more money!

Wouldn't Purchase Any Other

My other IPad was stolen and I was more upset about the possibility of not being able to get this protective case than losing the IPad. Can't say enough good about this cover, and this is highly unusual for me to recommend any product.

Best ipad cover I've owned

The material is not slippery and I love the side latch to keep it firmly closed. That material won't snag or wear out like the cloth covers I had previously. It's not bulky and is easy to work with. Highly recommend!

One minor (major) gaffe

The maneuver to leave the part of it down (to not obstruct the camera) can cause accidental drops. Other than that, it covers the iPad really well when closed, and the latch on the side secures the front cover, so it stays on and closed. And the fold out stands are really secure and sturdy.
