The speck candshell is a rock solid case. It protects the phone from drops, it's slim enough to put in your pocket. It's a great case for the price.

It protects the phone well and is very rigid. I wish it had some grips on the back though so that it doesn't slide around as easy on a desk or countertop.

The dark color of the rubber doesn't show discoloration. The case seems to be durable so far and my husband really loves the colors.

The case is hard and even when it falls it has a rubber outline around the screen so even if it does fall your phone won't crack.

Nice looking slim case. Not as protective as something like the Otter Box Commuter, but is much slimmer. No protection for the screen, but it's easy to add a glass protector as well. I like this one over the one with the rubber grips, as I lie it to slide easily in and out of my front pocket. Cool blue color, but this case will be really scratched up in several months just from setting it down and moving it on tables and things.
