This case is pretty great. Previous models have had areas that broke easily, like near the charging port, the silence switch, etc. They've removed the tiny plastic pieces in these areas and left a thicker piece of rubber. The case itself feels sleek and solid. It has a good lip around the display so if it were to be dropped there is protection. It isn't bulky, but with the new larger size of the iPhone, it does make it difficult to use one handed. I typically use my phone with no case at home, and put this on when I leave the house.

I bought this case because I had been happy with speck cases in the past. But this case has been especially protective. I can not count how many times I have dropped my phone in the month that I have had it and it is completely ok still; the only damage shown for it is a tiny crack in the plastic part of the case. Worth the buy.

I have used the Speck Candyshell phone case on every iPhone I've had, wouldn't use anything else. The best case out there in my opinion. I dropped my phone from the top of the bleachers at an outdoor football stadium once and it protected my phone perfect and didn't even crack the case. My go to case every time!

Having purchased multiple phones because of drops, I always want to find a case that is wife-proof. While the jury is still out, this one seems to be doing the job: the plastic case is durable, and it has the right amount of rubber edging to make it easy to grip. I have one on my iPhone as well.

I purchased a case when I got a new iPhone & I just didn't like it. So, I went back to Best Buy & bought a Speck. It is exactly what I wanted. It is very thin, but very protective. Between my wife, my son & myself, this is the 6th Speck case we have purchased & we are all very happy with our choices.

Accidentally wrote the wrong review on my iPhone's glass screen protector but the speck case is an awesome case I have always used this name brand case for all my iPhone's and it protects the phone remarkably. No matter how many times I drop the phone all of them remain flawless.

I have always liked Speck products as they are very well made and durable. I was waiting for this case to go on sale as I do feel $35 is too much for a basic case such as this one. I will say this case offers excellent protection of the phone but allows good access to all of the ports.

Obviously, I wouldn't recommend for the beach or boat, etc, but for the daily rigors and abuse my 14yo can dish out between sports and the occasional "oops", it has performed surprisingly well despite each cold chill I get when I observe said 'ooops" ...all-in-all, would buy again

I love the color, the ease of putting it on, I love that the buttons work easily which was an issue with my last case. I wish there was maybe a little more rubber on the sides, so that when I want to lean it up against something if it's on the slick surface, it won't slide.

Been using speck for years, and they never disappoint. You don't need an expensive bulky brick of a case, you really don't. Some people who work construction or have outdoor jobs might, or kids. But for the vast majority of us, I think these speck cases work just fine IMO.
