The shell case was a basic case. I don't recommend it because the clear plastic color changed to a slight yellow tint. It does handle drops like any other case.

Worst Note case in the history of speck. I have purchased Speck cases for my Note 4, 5 and now 7. All of them before the Note 7 had a protective shroud around the S Pen port(this protects the S Pen from impacts). The new Note 7 case is missing this and now only has a flimsy rubber surrounding which does NOT protect that corner at all. Buyer beware, this is not a drop proof case. I have contacted Speck and they swear it is mil spec.. I beg to differ.

I bought this case when I picked up my note 7 because it was one of two clear cases Best Buy had. After using this case for almost a month, I decided to get a different one when I exchange my note because of the recall. The back is super slick which makes me feel like I'm going to lose hold of my phone if I move quickly. Also the corner where the s-pen is stored is very flimsy and wouldn't protect against an impact.

With the reputation of Speck, I was highly disappointed. This is not a good case for an edge phone. The case caused the screen protector to peel up at the corners of the rounded edge. This allowed something to get up under the screen protector, which caused the screen to crack. I had to have my phone replaced with in less than a month. The replacement phone was put in a different case.

Bought this case to protect my Note 7. First time I dropped it, it fractured the screen in the lower corner. I went back to the store and asked how if its rated as military grade, why it didn't protect my phone. Their response....thats just a rating, it has nothing to do with protecting the product. Gee, no doubt Sherlock. Was nice that Samsung took the phone back without any cost to me.

Go for the Otterbox clear symmetry for $10 more. This started yellowing after 2 weeks. Build was pretty good though.

In less than 20 days one of the corners was getting yellow and silicone part was lifting from the plastic.

The shell is not clear as stated, it is a bit opaque which does not let the true beauty of the phone show through. The product logo is etched largely on the shell further blocking the view of the phone. Also the bottom right of the shell does not protect the phone should it fall and hit that corner as it does not wrap around that corner.

Not a great case. The corner started warping after only a few weeks

Just a plain slick plastic case. Didn't help the looks of my phone.

It's okay waiting for it to hopefully not get yellow

Bought this off a recommendation from the sales person. Knowing Speck has had a good reputation, I went with it. However, I currently now have a cracked screen on a phone that was not even dropped. This case is not protective. I have switched cases.

The holes don't match up with the speaker. Their logo on the back is kind of tacky and gets in the way of the phones brilliant appearance. It is also not screen protector friendly. Go with otterbox or spigen

Product is not very supportive of phone and the phones recalled so no use.

Didn't protect my screen, failed to protect the edge. Returned item

No longer needed since the phone is now recalled for a second time!

The case covers 2 of the speaker holes which muffles the sound

Great fit, stylish, lite weight, ample protection. I like the rubber grip features on the back. For me this is very important, I lay my phone down inside my work and personal vehicles in a way that it would slide around if this feature was absent.
