We bought this cover for my wife because she did not want a case that covered the screen. So far it has worked out great for her with no problems. She's even dropped it several times.

Three weeks after purchase, a grip pulled out from the base. If I hadn't super glued it back in place, the loose grip would have caught on something and ripped completely off. An email to the manufacturer on what to do, resulted in no reply.

I've now purchased two of these cases for myself and my son. The Speck candyshell case is awesome. Snugly fits your phone, but its easy to get off if needed. I've dropped it several times with no problems at all. It slides in and out of your pocket very easily and does not get stuck or snag...yet when you put it on a slippery counter surface, it stays put. If you like style and safety for your phone, buy this.

Just what I was looking for, a case with a rubbery grip. It also keeps the iPhone relatively slim. I'm not one for the tank like protection, but I do feel this case will handle a drop okay.
