Good case to start out with.

I always choose Speck as my starter case. It's simple, sturdy, and should keep your iPhone safe from short distance falls. Buttons may seem a bit stiff at first, but after some time they are easier to push/operate. I would suggest adding a screen cover to this case, as one is not build-in.

She wanted a Speck case, however. This case is super cute, has grippy sides and a back to help keep it in your hand, and has protected the phone when dropped.
