It was knocked out of my hands recently an fell hard on the concrete but no damage at all. Grip is also good as the case has grip treads on it.

It's lightweight and when I've dropped my phone, the beveled edges prevented the screen from being cracked. I like the rubber strips because it doesn't slip off the counter or off my hand.

It has slip resistant through all the sides. If you drop your phone again with this case then you are careless.

no need to look for any "otter" case
