I TRIED THE OTTERBOX COMMUTER AND THE TECH21 ON MY PHONE AS WELL AND I AM VERY HAPPY I WENT WITH THE SPECK, WOULD DO IT AGAIN.. NOT BULKY. CAN PUT PHONE IN YOUR PANTS POCKET. BEST OF ALL IT IS COMFORTABLE TO HOLD. RIBS HELP KEEP IT FROM SLIPPING. DOES NOT SLIDE ON SURFACES LIKE A COUNTER TOP OR CONSOLE IN THE CAR. PURCHASED 3 MONTHS AGO AND I HAVE NOT DROPPED THE PHONE SO I DO NOT KNOW HOW IT PERFORMS ON IMPACT. I THINK ON DROP IMPACT NOT AS GOOD AS AN OTTERBOX BUT SHOULD SUFFICE.

I love this Speck case for Galaxy Note 4. It is easy to pop on or off when needed, and provides an excellent grip and feel in my hand. I also love the way the rubber lines on the back keep the phone from moving at all on any hard surface (so phone does not slide around when touching it while not in my hand). This is my 2nd Speck case (I had one for my Droid Razr M), and my kids have had great success with Speck cases for different types of iPhones. I will always get a Speck case for any of my future phones.

This case has some seriously great grip. I can hold it casually in one hand with most natural grips and it stays put. One handed use, even with a phone this big is definitely doable with the Candyshell Grip on it. It's a little rough going in and out of pockets, but this is a double edged sword. What makes it slightly tighter going in and out of jeans also keeps it from falling out of a shirt pocket when bending over. The button action is fantastic. Not all cases get this right, and some fail miserably, but the Speck is just right. Great feedback, and not too soft or hard. Cutouts are all extremely precise, which is another weak spot for many other cases. The fit is extremely snug, which is good and bad. It's not a quick in and out, and I always feel like I'm needing to pry way too hard to get the case off when I need to (which isn't too frequently thankfully). I wasn't crazy about the design at first, but it has grown on me. It's interesting enough while still being subtle (Black/Gray model), and those rubber lines really do their job extremely well. I bought this as a placeholder case but I ended up liking it so much it will be the keeper.

This case was really not that good for me. I needed a belt clip which this does not have.

this is a very nice case ,good grip and protects phone very well,not to bulky either.

When I purchased my Note 4 the only case available was the Platinum case with a holster and kickstand. I've owned another Platinum case for my Galaxy S3 years ago. The Platinum case for the Note 4 had a number of issues. First, the fit was not great as there was some give on the sides. Second, the case material was slippery. Third, the grip was not great. Looking for an alternative I stumbled upon the Speck Candyshell for the Note 4. These are harder to find than hen's teeth, but I was lucky when on the hunt for one at Best Buy. This case is great. The fit is perfect and it appears it will offer more protection than the Platinum. The raised rubber ridges provide for a very nice and secure grip. Finally, the case adds very little girth to the Note 4...it still easily fits in my pocket. Great choice. No regrets.

I needed something to protect my new phone & was familiar with the speck brand from my ipod touch. I really like this case & have no complaints other than it would be all that much better if it came with a built in kick stand to watch programs or movies. Overall, great case!

I love Speck cases. I always know my devices are protected in these fantastic cases. I only wish Speck would come up with a few more color options for us Note 4 lovers :) I really enjoy this black and white option, stands out and is easy to find, plus it looks great!

I have one of these cases for each of my mobile devices. Not only does this case protect the device, without adding a lot of bulkiness to your device, but it adds a good grip to your device. I have never dropped my phone with this case on.

This is by far the best case I've ever used on my Note 4. I absolutely love the aesthetic, which is initially what drew me in. The price made my wallet want to cry but when the Note 4 first came out, there were VERY few options in regard to cases..let alone cases of decent quality. I've dropped my phone in this case multiple times on concrete and hard tile, from various angles and heights, and it has protected my phone every single time. No cracks or issues with the phone whatsoever! I was quite impressed with the protection it provides. I also like all of the black "grippy lines" on the back & sides of the case, it makes it much easier to get a good grip on this huge phone. I'm still able to access the S-pen, plug in the auxiliary cord in my car, and plug in my charger fully into the phone with this case on, no problem. The case is also super easy to take on and off. The only real downside is that it does add quite a bit of weight to the phone, but with this phone already being large, any case is going to do that. Highly recommend!

I love Speck cases. I always know my devices are protected in these fantastic cases. I only wish Speck would come up with a few more color options for us Note 4 lovers :) I really enjoyed giving this black and slate grey option to my boyfriend, he loves it!

the ONLY downside to this case is the opening for the microphone on the bottom. it is NOT centered (way off to the left). i've been told that it's hard to her me when in use. i always have to turn up the volume and put on the speaker phone. poor quality control...

I have dropped my phone many times with this case and it has done it's job, my phone is injury free. The raised ridges help to keep a good grip on your phone.

Phone case was good... like the grip felling on outside...
