I have been a loyal Speck customer since I had my iPhone 4S. It was the first case I bought for my 4S and to this day, I have not seen a case withstand what I put that thing through. A lot of people complain about the scratching on the case and yeah, it's annoying, but just be glad those aren't scratches on your phone! It has a nice cushiony center that prevents the glass from breaking and it's built to bounce if you drop it from say your ear. Very nice case and not a bad price either. The company has a lot of versatility too so you can find these cases for any phone really.

Overall, this is an excellent case. It fits the phone to a "T", so much so that it can be a little difficult to get the phone back out of the case. It is lined with rubber on the inside and protects the phone well, as its held up to a few small drops. The only reason I gave this a 3 star is because of the glossy finish. The problem is that it looks beautiful when you buy it, but every scratch becomes visible and it starts to look not so good after awhile. But I guess that is the point of a case, so those scratches aren't on my phone. Overall, I'd say its still a good buy for the money.

I had this same case for my iPhone 3GS. It does seem to scratch easy, and will most likely become brittle and break, but name one case that you don't end up replacing at least once during the life of the phone. Case is very minimum in thickness, adding very little to the phone while providing shock protection. The lip does cover the front of the phone, so I have opted to not get a screen protector. I like to lightly "toss" my phone into a cup holder in the car, and that is why I got this type of case.

This case has good protection for the back of the phone, but the face protection is pretty bad. I wouldn't get this to use if you drop your phone alot, however if you are careful it will protect from the occasional drop.

I went this one because I chose a black phone. I was to going with white but with Black instead. The white case has a cool, sleek, appearance. It's silky smooth to hold. The phone fits perfectly in the case and the case offers soft buttons that align with the Iphone volume and on and off power button. Also the camera hole, microphone, headphone, charging area is fit perfectly with the phone. So far love it. Love the color.

Love this case but after a couple months the white gets dirty. Just from dust and handling the white turns yellowish and you cant clean it (not even with bleach)

I've owned over 25 cases for my iPhone 4. So, this was one of the first cases I bought for my iPhone 5. These Speck Candyshells are super protective, though not overly thick. They feel great in your hand and look great. I'm laughing at people who complain that they scratch easily. 1.) You can't see the scratches unless you put the phone up to your eye to thoroughly examine it. 2.) Isn't that the PURPOSE of the case? To protect the phone? This case looks great and feels great and I highly recommend it.

This iPhone case has proven itself over and over. Even after a drop that would almost certainly cause the screen to tear, it holds its ground.

Ignore the first comment, the purpose of a CASE is to protect the PHONE from damage, and that is just what this case does. It combines both soft shell rubber inside providing shock resistance, and hard shell polycarbonate outside with bumpers protecting the phone from drops. I spent all week trying out cases that would protect my new iP5, and this one was the best quality, and attractive looking. It may be a little pricey, but not as pricey as it is dropping the phone itself without it.

This case has protected my phone will since I purchased even though I have dropped it several times.

I purchased this Speck Candyshell in white with blue. I have read others review on Amazon that it got scuffed up easily and the silicon sleeve became stretched. I don't know what they purchased cuz I have had no issues with mine. It is still clean white. If you hold it at a certain angle, you can see the scuffs that it protected from being on my phone! But, that is the only way you can see them. The silicon lining fits and looks the same as the day I bought it. I don't understand what all the complaining is about! The one complaint that I read and somewhat agree with is that the switch to turn off the speakers is a bit deep. If you have thick fingers without any fingernails, it might prove tough to get to if you need it. But, you can use the volume up/down buttons like my father does! Really not a deal breaker in my opinion. After everything I had read, I was skeptical. Now I am really happy I purchased it for my white iPhone 5. Thanks Best Buy!

This case looks amazing on my iPhone 5s, and it feels very protective.

I bought this case about 6 months ago, and overall I have been very happy with it. While I found the price rather high, in my opinion it is one of the more attractive cases available that is also designed to withstand dropping, etc. The case has done a great job protecting my phone, however, the case itself has not faired as well. The print that drew me to the case has faded, even wearing away on the edges. Also, on the base of the case, where the speaker cover and opening for the sync cord are, the case has cracked (although still staying together thanks to inside lining), and a piece of the hard plastic above the sync cord opening has broken off. Overall, a good case, but not without it's problems.

This was one of only two cases available on the day the 5 came out at my local AT&T store. The other was an Otter Box, which I did not want because you cannot get them in and out of your pockets. I have been Very Pleased with this case. The fit on the phone is incredible! It protects the mic at the bottom and covers the volume buttons on the side. The case does scratch rather easily, but that is what its for. As for protection, well, I accidentally closed my phone in the lift gate of our Jeep Commander, not once but twice! and the phone is perfect! Small dent in the rubber of the case but otherwise no damage. I would highly recommend this case to a friend. In fact, I purchased this case in white/pink for my daughter's iPhone 5 she is getting as a stocking stuffer for Christmas.

My first speck case i wanted to try it out since mostly of friends have it...it doesnt make your phone feel heavy while having the case on and different color combinations its just perfect

Scratches easily? Seriously? This is a great protector for your investment. It looks great, keeps your phone protected with an outer hardshell and a rubber layer inside... and, unlike many of the covers, it keeps the size of your phone to a minimum. The front face rubber bumper extends out just far enough to give you protection when laying it face down but doesn't add to the thickness much at all. Overall, this is a really good case.

This is the best case I've had for an iPhone. It has almost the same protection as an otter box but considerably thinner and lighter. Does it scratch? Sure but wouldn't you rather the case scratch (which is what it's made for) than your phone scratch? Complaining about the case scratching is like complaining that an umbrella gets wet.

I have purchased 4 covers for my new iPhone 5. This cover, by far, offers the best fit and the best protection of the four. The problem, however, is that it scratches much too easily. Within 2 days, it looked 2 months old. I would not recommend this cover due to the easily scratched glossy finish.

I like it alot. It fits perfectly and it protects it somewhat. I like it because its not huge or bulky
