I purchased this hoping I would still be able to dock my Macbook Pro 15" in a Hengedock - the case is much too thick to use with any dock on the market aside from a thunderbolt dock/replicator.

This was not purchased for heavy use. Mainly it's a dust cover. I don't plan on roughing it. So far it is doing a good job but I am taking no risk to put it to test.

Needed to get some protection for the new Mac so I purchased this case, its just ok, it's kind of junky and I am not really sure how its supposed to protect it?

Had to return due to it not fitting - please take your computer with you to measure for size. Very disappointed as they no longer carry cases to fit the older Macs

Works as advertised. I like the digital readout and the option to charge with a higher amperage, this is a very handy little tool amongst my collection!

Wanted protection for my my $2k MacBook and love aqua but this case is flimsy and color is not classsy at all.

Definitely don't purchase a "off brand" laptop case especially since you have purchased a big ticket item. Sometimes it's better to go brand name!

It would be a great case if this wasn't the second one that started breaking apart on me. It's a shame that Speck didn't make them strong enough.

Case snaps into place and fits computer snug. Case does allow light to pass through it so you still get to see the Apple logo illuminate

The bottom part of this case doesnt fit quite well on my macbook pro.....it sliced off from the front!!...

This was going to be my second cover for my MacBook Pro. The first one worked great. But with the black cover you can see fingerprints and smudges on it easily. So I ordered the clear one. This cover would not attach to the bottom half. No matter what I did it just wouldn't click into place securely. If you get one to fit this product is great. But a couple others have had the issue I had where it just won't snap on securely.

I have had this same case in other colors, I believe the old matte black one was a different material than what's currently available but the same issue occurs where the 2 back bars that hold the bottom tray in place broke off because they do not fully attach themselves to the MacBook Pro. With this case in particular it broke in a matter of days where as with the old material it took months. Clear show of a decline in quality.

My case didn’t fit correctly but I had no issues in returning it. Still rating it 3 stars bc it was a quality product.

This protects my new laptop. It is great for keeping my computer looking new. I has built in "feet" and is just really good looking.

it was very difficult to know this wasn't meant for the macbook pro with a cd drive. did not fit, and had to return.

I love the pink color but it keeps cracking. I've returned and reordered twice now

I would recommend the speck case for the macbook, it does the job and is pretty good quality for the price we paid

I purchased the Speck cover and it cracked within 6 months. I don't work outside of my home, it hadn't been dropped. Just opening and closing it made cracks in the front and back. Last week it broke in half and it's not even a year old. Speck customer service was not help. A utter waste of money.
