I bought this as an alternative to the pop socket so that I can use my wireless charging. It didn't even last 12 hours. By the evening the sliding part had already broken. It was a nice idea but the quality is not worth it.

This grip/stand does it's job. You attach it to the back of your phone case and the middle section slides up to make a loop so you can place your finger in it to better grip your phone. Where pop sockets are bulky, this takes care of that! Lays flat, just a slight raise against the back of your phone which is convenient. I can see this would come in handy if I was out walking and had no pockets. I would need to hold my phone and this would feel more secure in my hand than without it. If you are a pop socket user I would definitely give this a try, I see it as an improvement.

I bought this as alternative to a popsocket but ended up being worse. It seemed good in idea but didn’t feel right in practice. It felt uncomfortable on the finger and once you use it for a while the tab doesn’t lay flat again. I bought it on clearance n ended up just throwing it away. Stick to the pop socket.

The Speck Grabtab works perfectly. It’s small and unobtrusive on the back of your phone or case. It practically melts into the case when you don’t need it. When you do need it, it provides some extra stability, especially for folks who have smaller hands or larger phones. I’ve added it to my Galaxy S9+ and it makes it much easier to navigate the phone. It also works as a kickstand if I wanted to watch a longer video from the tabletop. When closed up, it’s flat enough to fit in my back pocket without any issues. Just make sure you pick a case with a flat back. Overall, it’s a great addition to any case at a competitive price.

I have a very thin leather Apple case on my thin iPhone XS Max. Adding this makes the phone easier to grip and hold onto. The loop was a very clever design because it’s only there when I need it. The loop makes it safer to carry in my hands and serves to angle the phone when I set it down. This is handy for watching videos and live TV. I can still use my car mount because this is so thin. Moreover, it works with all of my wireless chargers. I have seen the phones with a huge button or knob on the back of them and this serves the same purpose without the bulky look.

it may well work well as a kickstand but as a Finger Grip is is a failure. The strap broke on day 2 due to poor construction. A real good idea but poorly built. i would not recommend.

The Speck - GrabTab Finger Grip/Kickstand for Mobile Phones - Black offers an alternative to the button poppers all the teenaged girls are using today. Comparatively thin and sleek, the GrabTab firmly sticks to your phone or case and offers a finger hold and/or kickstand for your viewing needs. I found it to be a nice alternative to the bulky button, but it has limitations. First, I regularly charge my phone via a wireless pad, this product eliminates this possibility, but so does the button options. Secondly, I found the slider to be a bit challenging to use as you must push in just the right spot up or down to move it. The finger loop has the potential to be sharp on the edge, and while I don't see anyone cutting themselves by just sticking your finger in, it might if you drop your phone or set it down with your finger still in place - just my observation. Finally, while it adds only a minimal amount of depth, it was just enough to make the vent holder less secure while driving. Risked popping out. PROS - SPECK quality - Slim, minimal profile - Alternative to the bulky and gaudy pop-up buttons - Strong adhesive securely attaches to your phone or case CONS - Cannot wirelessly charge your phone with this in place - May affect your car mount (impossible with magnetic mount, questionable with vent mounts)
