The clear case allows your phone color to show through without compromising the protection. My son has had several accidental phone drops with zero phone damage because of this case quality.

The SPECK is the BEST
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I swear by Specks because they are legit! i have dropped my iPhone so many times and it is still in one piece with no cracks or scrapes. I also have the invisishield screen protector so I believe that plays a large role in it as well but the Speck case absorbs shock so the phone does not suffer damage when it is dropped. I do NOT recommend dropping your phone to "test it out" but if you happen to accidentally drop your phone, it will most likely be fine! One con is with any clear case, it will eventually start to get dirty over time so it will not have that clean clear crisp look forever but that is to be expected with anything. Remove it and hand wash it if needed.
