Good but Expensive, and One Issue

The one thing I don’t understand is that there’s a gap around the camera lens. Considering that this case is 3-4 times more expensive than similar competitors, I would expect better details. If there’s a purpose for the gap, I’d like to know... the only thing I can see it doing is collecting dirt and debris.

Does the job I want

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.While it's certainly not waterproof, and you'll still want a screen protector for the front screen, this is the second one of these cases I've owned. I really like how it grips so when I put it down on things the phone doesn't just slide around. Plus, the cushioned corners have held up and protected the phone on those occasions when I have dropped it. Most importantly, it has done the job and protected my phone.

Excellent protection!

My phone survived those drops, and the case did not show any cracks. Thank goodness for Speck cases! My last Speck case survived numerous drops with my old iPhone 6, It still looked new, when I traded it in for the 10s.

There is no protection to the front of the phone so an additional glass screen protector might be useful. I’ve had several phone cases of this style and haven’t had issues with any of them.
