I took it off ONCE to use my NEW Samsung VR and the case cracked on the bottom right corner. Really? I was super careful as I am with all my phones. If something like that breaks my case, what would happen if that "military grade" case actually hit the ground... with my phone? Returned and got another case (Otterbox). Return was painless through Best Buy. Cannot recommend this case.

Did not protect my phone screen from drop

It was on my car roof and slid off (6 feet fall onto asphalt surface), The corner plastic broke and the screen cracked. The case is 1 year 1 month old. Rubber on the back is peeling off too. I will update my review after I get the results of the warranty claim.
