I hate this case. It really doesn't protect the IPad very well.

I purchased this case at the recommendation of the salesperson, at the same time I bought my IPad Pro 12.9’. The salesperson had a “helluva’ time getting the case on the IPad Pro. It was a very tight fit, but no doubt good protection. From the beginning my new IPad had experienced SEVERE issues of the screen not responding to touch. Sometime it froze momentarily, other times for a long time. A Google search revealed this was a widespread problem, but not one everyone experienced. At some point I noticed/figured out that by pressing the screen aggressively, prior to “typing,” seemed to unfreeze the IPad. Then . . . I looked at the IPad from the thin side, and the darned thing was “warped.” Remembering how difficult the case had been to install, I suspected that the case may have been the culprit. I was able to get the case off and again the IPad appeared flat. I have now been working on the IPad for 5 or 6 hours. I have had ZERO OCCURRENCES OF NON-RESPONSE since removing the case. Draw your own conclusions. I have. The case is a “victim” of the very, very thin iPad, but mine is not going back on.

No place to charge Apple Pencil while in case, I always had to peel back the top of this case to charge my pencil and eventually this wore out the case on the edge, I also risked breaking the iPad charging cable if I pulled the case back too far when attempting to charge the pencil.

Plenty of viewing angles although it is a bit tight trying to fit the case around the iPad.

Not a good case at all.

Not only was this vague on the website whether you could charge the Apple Pencil while the case was on, but the case does not hold the pencil well. This thing is junk and very bulky. The case alone not considering the pencil is not pleasant at all to deal with. The cover is loose when closed and attached. It's awkward to deal with when opening and trying to use the iPad as well. Would not recommend and will be returning mine. If this was a $10 case I still wouldn't buy it.

    Decent protection, poor design

The case seems to provide decent enough protection, however there is no ability to charge the Apple Pencil 2nd Gen. Since you are unable to attach the Pencil without taking the iPad Pro out of the case, you are unable to use the Pencil all together.

    Doesn't fit

I bought this case at the same time as my new iPad, the sales rep sold me on it. I wasn't interested in Apple's case with the keyboard, so I figured this would do. Got home, tried to put the case on my iPad multiple times, multiple different ways. Didn't fit. I looked up the reviews on Amazon and it appears someone else had these same issues. Although they got theirs to fit, the fit was so tight it was causing micro-fractures in the screen at the corners. Would not recommend to anyone, to be honest, let alone a friend.

really bad design case for a new 3rd ipad pro 12.9

The case design is bad that you have to remove the case to re charge the pen. Plus the case doesn't turn the screen off because it's too loosely. It's just really really bad design case for such a beautiful ipad. it gotta return. Do NOT buy this case. Sorry.

I did not buy the Apple Pencil when I purchased my iPad, so I wasn't thinking about whether or not it would be possible to charge the Pencil in the this case. Well, I learned the hard way once I did purchase the Pencil. Do Not purchase this case if you intend on using the Apple Pencil.

Like everyone else, Best Buy was out of the ASK, but I needed a case for my new iPad Pro 12.9 (2018). I bought this one. It’s going back. It doesn’t fit the iPP very well. I’m not going to risk damaging to the device to get it in a “protective” case.

The case is so hard, I ended up bending my ipad pulling it out to charge pencil and there is no option for pencil charging. I dont want to mess up my ipad after paying $89 for this.
