the case can protect my phone, but it does feel a bit thinner so let’s hope that it can actually do its job properly

I love the color and grip of the case. However, I’m not a fan of the buttons on it. The click feels awkward and squishy. The case is great but I just don’t like the buttons.

The edge of the case around the camera lens is recessed on the bottom edge so that the lenses stick out beyond the case on that edge leaving them unprotected

Speck redesigned the Presidio case for the iPhone 16 and they should have left the prior great design alone. The new case does not have the same amount of grip ridges on the sides where your fingers come in contact with the sides. Also, for some reason the designers made the raised lip on the rear of the case that surrounds the camera lenses and light only three-sided - it does not completely surround the camera lenses/light as on previous cases. So, if you lay the case on a flat surface, the lowest of the three lenses can actually contact the surface on which the phone is laying. Also, this means that something can strike the lowest camera lens if the phone lands or is struck at just the right angle from the rear and downward angle. Speck needs to modify its new case so the ridge completely surrounds and protects the lenses/light.
James, Thank you for your feedback. With the new size of iPhone 16 pro, we did have to modify our camera bezel to fit a variety of Magsafe accessories. We try to accommodate as many features available as we can. Our customer care team can answer and further questions of concerns. Feel free to contact us at [email protected].
