Don't waste your money product is very flimsy and cracks very easily!

Not a very good casing. I mean, it fits. But it's low quality. :(

I did a lot of research when I bought this about a year ago. I had it shipped to me (they didn't have the color I wanted in store) -- that whole experience was fine. BB even price-matched for me when they dropped the price a week later, so that was great. In terms of the product itself, I was worried about the case being bulky -- it definitely isn't. You have to know which model macbook you have to make sure you get the right one. The only thing I don't like about this is that my MBA tends to overheat in this case b/c there are no air vents. (I also bought a case for my 2010 MBP, and it has air vents on the bottom). When the MBA gets hot, I hear the fan and the battery dies much faster. Sometimes i have to take off the bottom part of the case to try to help it cool off. That's the only annoying part. I think Speck does make some MBA cases with the vents now, so you might consider that since I think the price is the same, vent or no vent. Otherwise, no issues -- it does what it's supposed to do. These cases are awfully expensive for being a piece of plastic, but when you invest $1000 on a computer, you certainly don't want to skimp on the case to save $10 here or there.

I got this case for my Macbook Air which is mostly used for college. I just wanted to have something to keep it protected. I do have to mention that it does not have a glossy finish. This is the satin (soft touch) which I think is much better than the glossy designs. The product design description says glossy. While looking for a case for my Mac I came across a You Tube video that shows you how to install this case and I recommend you watch it. The case is not hard to install but some people complain about clicking when opening and closing and there is a reason. The case has not been installed properly. Love the look and feel of this case, but I do wish that Best Buy sold some of the other colors that are available.

As a doctoral student this is a great case for on the go. I stuff it in my bag in between classes without worrying about damage. Pleased with this purchase.

I really like that there is a satin finish on the case and it adds no bulk whatsoever. Could be a little cheaper, but I guess you get what you pay for.

What is not to love about a black Macbook? Sleek and stylish. Wont protect from falls but did not expect that anyway,

Great case. Don't have any scratches on my computer and it makes my MacBook Air feel really durable.

This is my 2nd Speck cover after having my 1st one after 16 months after seeing cracks on the corners of the top lid and scratches on the top and bottom. I haven't seen that many similar Macbook cases in regular stores, so I usually gravitate to Speck due to how accessible they are. I bought this to have a backup crack-free case for occasions that call for a more minimalist look, but if it weren't for that, Speck Macbook cases have held up fine for someone who frequently depends on their laptop.

The only faults that I've come to notice with this product is that, if you're like me, when you pick up your open laptop with four fingers underneath and a thumb on top, your thumb will always cause the case to snap off. The only other thing, which someone else has already mentioned, is the ease at which this material scratches. Frankly, the only thing stopping me from returning this product is the fact that I had somehow managed to put a deep scratch on the bottom of the case while sitting in bed and because I already had two other things that needed to be returned & I didn't want to be too much of a hassle to the BestBuy staff. But this is why eBay was invented, right?

A must have after making a new laptop purchase to protect your device.

This is a nice case and protects it well. I gave only 4 stars because the top is a little heavy and can cause the top of the laptop to fall back sometimes.

I had to watch a youtube video to try to get this thing off my computer. Eventually, after hours of messing with this thing, I used a credit card to snap it off. It did protect the computer, but the difficulty of removal ruins this product.

If you have a MacBook air, I strongly suggest you get this case because you will definitely need it for your MacBook.

Overall great case. The corner is a little hard to clip on but other then that great.
