Since I was giving this computer to my daughter I knew that I would need a cover to protect it. Fortunately, we have not had any instances yet, so I can't give it a higher rating at this time. What I can tell you is that my 16 yr. old daughter thought she could put it on herself. WRONG! It took an act of congress to get the cover lined up and installed properly by me. I thought at one point is was going to break b/c of the pressure it took to line it up. I recommend an adult applying this cover.

I love this cover for my MBA. Seems to be well made, but it does seem to scratch easily, but it's hardly noticeable.

Got the for my daughter who is rough on electronics and has done the job! Protecting her Mac from her and the grandkids!

Love the thin simple design however it cracked as soon as I put it on my laptop. Hopefully spec will stand behind their product.

This case is absolutely terrible. It's very rough on the corners and when I would type it would almost cut my hand by being so rough.

my college daughter picked this out for her birthday, she put it on and used for a couple days but it cracked. She took it back and they happily replaced it and the new one seems to be fine

I love the look of the case, but I have had 2 that have cracked on the sides after a short time.

This is a easy snap on case. It protects my MacBook Air from scratches and dings. It also shows off how cool looking it is! Highly recommend!

The quality of the case is cheap. However, it does provide you with very basic protection. You get what you pay for.

This is my second speck mac case, I had to get it for my new computer because my older one still looks brand new (and i've had it for years).

Ordered a hot pink one for my wifes computer. She was very excited about the color, put in on but it cracked in the front. Sent a note to Speck and they sent a replacement. Unfortunately the new one is also cracking. The customer service at Speck is great at Speck, too bad the product is just to tight a fit for the computer. Just as an fyi, i followed instructions on how to install on line both times.

The case fit great, but it got 2 cracks in it from normal use within 2 months, I'll be returning it to Speck for a replacement.

These colored shells look fine, but they only make your Mac heavier, more difficult to open. The one I got my girlfriend cracked around the edges after a week of normal use.

I was skeptical about this color but it looks amazing on my MacBook Air! It also fits really well and protects it from scratches.

I choose the color of my laptop & therefore I wanted to see it not cover it up with something to hide it and yet protect it at the same time.

I needed to protect my laptop so my options were between this and one other brand. BOTH are over priced but do the trick

Bought this for my daughter's new mac book pro. A must since the system get's tossed in her backpack with all her other stuff.

15 yo daughter stickered her macbook. CASE A NECESSARY accessory! Got second in case 13 yo daughter inclined to do likewise to hers also.

I've used sleeves in the past, but I'm very pleased with the snap-on case. Exactly what I needed to protect my computer when it's OUTSIDE of its sleeve.

I love this case. It wasn't that much and it has held up very well. It looks great and feel strong.
