It is pretty unfortunate. I expect them to last at least 6months to a year with heavy use. This case did not live up to the test.

Good value since I purchased for $19.99 as a deal of the day item. In store pickup was convenient, straightforward and savings (to avoid paying for shipping). I recommend this product as a good investment to help protect your MacBook Air!
