Nice cover for added protection. Love the way it protects but isn't bulky.

Wanted a product that protected my MacBook Pro. Fits perfect, good quality

I installed the Speck Case onto the Macbook very easily, but then realized that the lid part installed up side down, it was difficult to remove and replace correctly without putting extra strain on the laptop screen. My daughter later wanted to place a sticker on the laptop case, she removed the Speck cover and it completely messed up her display, which had to be repaired (expensive). So be very careful removing and replacing this case because it fits very tightly to the laptop. It's a great case if you want to install it for laptop protection and leave it on the laptop permanently.

Great laptop cover. very light and protective, I especially enjoy the colors.

Purchased this cover based on price and fit to my wife's new MacBook Pro. I have a similar (black) cover on my MacBook Pro purchased 13 months ago which does a reasonable job of protecting the laptop. I have however had to superglue two corners of my cover which cracked while being carried in my computer bag. For the price of the cover, it does the job - keeping the laptop somewhat protected and clean.

This cover provides good protection while making the laptop look nice ands shows the nice original design of the MacBook itself. Only downside is that it adds a bit of weight.

You do not need a protective cover, but it makes sense to protect your investment. I purchased a bright color on purpose as it stands out from others in class, which is a bit of a security feature. I have also placed a few stickers on the cover to personalize it more. I would never dream of placing stickers directly on my laptop. Protection, security and personalization!

If you're looking for a case to protect your MacBook from falls, this is not the case. Fortunately I read the reviews. I wasn't actually looking for that but I was looking for a case to protect the Macbook from scratches, dings or minor cosmetic issues. This fits the bill. I love this case. The only thing wrong with it is there was no purple in store and sold out online.
