It does it's job to a certain extent. It shows lots of scratches and scuff on it. After about six months the edges were cracking. And to collect lots of dust underneath.

Good case for Apple MacBook but it was not the correct product for the model purchased. Sales Associates didn't have the knowledge needed to recommend the correct product.

I've always had a positive impression of true speck cases. They have been durable for cell phones. So I had no hesitation in buying a true Spek case for my new Mac Book. However, this case failed my expectations. Within a month, this case has cracked around the corners, allowing the case to fit loosely and pop off. Not sturdy or durable at all. I expected a case to with stand time and protect my device but that is not what I got. I would look for a different brand to protect my high dollar investments.

I tried to fit it on my 13.3" Macbook Pro but it was difficult to fit and it started to crack until it kept breaking, I wish there was one that actually fit my computer.

I bought this case and it cracked 3 days after I put it on my laptop. No I didn't drop it or hit it. I simply opened and closed the laptop and it cracked.

In the first few days that the case was on the computer, the corners began to show hairline cracking despite the fact that the computer had not left the house. Within one week of relatively gentle use (the computer is transported to and from school in a padded backpack) pieces began falling off of the bottom case. I double-checked the packaging, and it was in fact sold for my model of MacBook Air. Unfortunately, it was not designed actually stay on or protect the computer.

This hard shell case is cracking at all the corners. I have never dropped it or anything and it just started cracking. I would not recommend people buy this.

I purchased this for my wife's new Macbook pro retina 13". The shell may work for daily home use but it doesn't provide a secure enough fit for a road warrior.

I regret buying cos when I opened it, it has scratches meaning that I wasn't the one to use it. Waste of my money.

This case was visually appealing but won't due that much to protect your laptop. The corner pieces broke after less than a month leaving very sharp edges.

I only got to use this case for a little bit because when I would set my backpack on the ground with my laptop in it, it would crack the sides.

I loved my case...until it broke three weeks after I purchased it. Not worth the $40. I'm soooooooooo disappointed:(

This is a second case like this that I bought. Never again. The first one started cracking very quickly and fell apart in few places without bumping or dropping the laptop. I bought the second thinking that it will be better and because there's not much choice. It didn't correctly fit. I took it to Best Buy and showed it to customer service person. She said to keep it because it will not crack even if it didn't fit 100%. It started cracking the next day.

Unfortunately the Speck case edges have cracked despite minimal transport of the laptop. Quite disappointed with this case for the price.

Case cracked within a month of use. I keep my Mac in a case in my work bag and the case still cracked.

My case cracked a few months after installing it on my mac. I will never buy from this company again.

Top shell did not fit brand new MacBook Pro correctly. When I thought I had it on, the case actually cracked at the corner from the pressure. I returned to store thinking it was just a defect, but entire case cracked when we removed it. Asked a Best Buy associate to install, multiple attempted but no one was able to get the new cover placed. I ended up exchanging for a different case altogether. Good concept, if only the dimensions were accurate.

The first one cracked within two weeks. At that price it should have been better. However, Best Buy was great about a free replacement.
