This case is the worst case I have ever used. It imediatley developed small cracks at corners and in places where I believe there are tension spots. It appears as if the case was not designed well. I am very careful with my MacBook to the point I baby it so it has never been dropped or hit against anything. I literally had it sitting on a table in a stationary spot with the lid closed when the first crack appeared. After reading other reviews I see I am not the only one to experience this. Do not waste your money!

I finally made the switch to a Mac Book and I can not believe I waited so long! I am SO pleased with this computer, I have not had one problem at all!

I would certainly recommend buying it. Very sturdy and you can still see the Apple logo behind the screen when using it. Would recommend buying this!!!!!

This case started cracking on its own without being mishandled or dropped. Just fine line cracks that made it come loose.This was probably just a lemon. My son has one that has no issues. Best Buy was great about replacing it.

Love this case. Allows me to use stickers on my laptop and still being able to see them. Keeps corners of my laptop protected, and snaps on perfectly

This has been the longest lasting cover ever. It has not been married or even scratched. It is looking good as new 1 year later.

Bought this case for my daughter that did the research. It fits perfectly and will protect from scratches. Will not protect from a drop though.

I bought this case thinking that I would be able to have adequate protection of my laptop, but further review of how this case would hold up against everyday life made me see if cannot handle every day life. The edges are the first places to break. The mechanisms that are used to latch the shell to the laptop are too shallow. Placing the laptop in the case nearly broke the case. I think if the plastic was not so ridge but was more of a flexible product, that this shell would be great. I opted to go with a sleeve to keep my mc protected. I'd advise to research this product before you pay the price they ask for it.

Item wasn’t 2 months old and cracked on side of laptop. The laptop hasn’t been dropped or anything and I can’t return to store cause it’s been over 45 days

Went into Best Buy looking for a case for my new laptop. The young man that assisted me was excellent. I love the color and how sturdy it is.

Had issues placing the top panel. Finally able to fit it but noticed a crack that was about an inch long along the right hand corner. Gave the laptop a slick look but was not really a fit with the 13 inch macbook pro

Staff were extremely helpful in finding the right computer for new college student, assuring it would last her thru out her college years

I have purchased two of thevspeck covers and they protect the laptop well Last about two years before they begin to crack and chip

My wife has use a Mac before and needed a new one. This computer meets all of her needs and we are thrilled. Also, Best Buy also gives wonderful service.

Good quality cover for the Macbook. My daughter had one on her MacBook. I liked it so much that I bought one for myself.

This case is colorful and sturdy it and I get a lot of compliments from it and would buy another one in a different color

Very smooth, lightweight, and comes in cute colors! The tabs hold it firmly in place so it feels completely secure. Love it!

There was one I had before the Speck, but I hated the case. It had a weird texture on the outside (bumpy) which I didn't like.

Protects my son's Macbook 13" pro very well and also has a nice feel. Not sticky when sliding into or out of a computer bag.

This seems to be a great case. All is new. It fit well in the store. I will have to wait a few more weeks to see it in action.
