This case is very simple; it just snaps right on and that's about it. It protects mainly from scratches against the surface of your macbook.

Great purchase, a lot of great features. Slim, portable, stylish. It would have been nice to have Apple warranty extended longer than 1 year.

I think cause of the color the scratches seem more prominent

After investing in a Macbook Pro, protecting it with this case was a no-brainer. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the top doesn't quite fit perfectly. One place it should latch over the computer case doesn't quite reach the point it needs to, so there is a slight gap.

This hard case was a little more expensive than what I wanted to pay but so happy that I did. It is a great case. I feel that the computer is protected.

This was the wrong product for the Mac book that I bought

The product has served its purpose well so far. I bought it to protect my wife's new MacBook Pro. It was easy to put on, like a snap, and he worked great.

I chose this case because I had a black one on my macbook pro before. I used it for about a year with no problems. It was a great case and I didn't even need to research a new one when getting a new a new macbook. I'm not sure if this new case was manufactured differently or just thinner but I am much less pleased than before. It has started to crack around the corners in 3 out of 4 corners. I am very gentle with my macbook and treat it with care. I assume that it has still protected my computer but it doesn't look great. I will probably start looking for something else to put my macbook in.

My son dropped my mac and it protected it so well. I wouldn't recommend using for such protection but for a small fall it did awesome

This is a very good product and reasonable price for the durability and fit of the laptop. I can tell that this case will last me a very long time!

I love this case! It does its job for protecting the computer itself, seems sturdy and lets you admire the beauty of your laptop.

Broke on the 2nd day after buying it. Did not get to return because of the 15 Day return policy. Daughter in Boarding School was s not able to get it back in time. Will think twice about buying from Best Buy.

Very nice case and easy to install and take off. Great price and the quality of the case is excellent.

I have no issues with this product. It protects my Mac from scraches and notmal wear and tear. Still, it is only a thin layer and won't protect against utter neglect. I also bought a neoprene sleeve for extra care. I cracked my first Speck case (user fault)

I always worry when you have an expensive purchase. Love the protection I feel by having this case on my computer.

The Speck case is amazing!! Quality, sleekish, and durable. The case will protect your labtop from an accidental drop. I highly recommend.

Saved my computer from season ending injuries. I know because the one computer I did not put this on is down for the count.

Received this from Best Buy and it cracked rather soon after. Was able to register product on Speck and receive a replacement. Always satisfied with Speck products as well as the sales at Best Buy that allow me to purchase said products.

i wanted to keep the outside of my mac clean and scratch free as alone as as possible i was talking to a salesman in the store and he recommended the Speck brand. i like the color very much

Bought this for my daughter who is using the computer for college. She loves the color and the style. Good buy!
