This was not purchased for heavy use. Mainly it's a dust cover. I don't plan on roughing it. So far it is doing a good job but I am taking no risk to put it to test.

Needed to get some protection for the new Mac so I purchased this case, its just ok, it's kind of junky and I am not really sure how its supposed to protect it?

Had to return due to it not fitting - please take your computer with you to measure for size. Very disappointed as they no longer carry cases to fit the older Macs

Bought this for my son's MacBook Pro 15". It fits great and leaves plenty of space for cooling vents, ports, etc.

So far I haven't had any problems. If I do the company seems to have a good warranty/return policy.

Wanted protection for my my $2k MacBook and love aqua but this case is flimsy and color is not classsy at all.

In addition to being durable, the clear finish doesn't detract from the beauty of the laptop.

It would be a great case if this wasn't the second one that started breaking apart on me. It's a shame that Speck didn't make them strong enough.

Just needed something to walk out the store with my mac. It's a nice case, sleek, durable.

Looks great on the computer and holds up to the claws of my cats.

If you want to keep your MacBook from being scratched it works fine. There is a problem with heating though it can make your computer hotter then without it.

Mac does it again. The screen is beautiful. It runs programs faster than my 16 GB RAM Mac Pro tower.

This case works great for my Mac Book Pro and looks sleek. If you don't mind the price pick one up.

This product didn't fit my 15"Mac. The bottom cover covered some of the ports and the cd tray. :( It seemed to be well made, disappointed it didn't fit.

A cool looking, protective case for your laptop. The rubber feet keeps it in place.

The bottom part of this case doesnt fit quite well on my macbook pro.....it sliced off from the front!!...

This was going to be my second cover for my MacBook Pro. The first one worked great. But with the black cover you can see fingerprints and smudges on it easily. So I ordered the clear one. This cover would not attach to the bottom half. No matter what I did it just wouldn't click into place securely. If you get one to fit this product is great. But a couple others have had the issue I had where it just won't snap on securely.

I have had this same case in other colors, I believe the old matte black one was a different material than what's currently available but the same issue occurs where the 2 back bars that hold the bottom tray in place broke off because they do not fully attach themselves to the MacBook Pro. With this case in particular it broke in a matter of days where as with the old material it took months. Clear show of a decline in quality.
