I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with Speck products in the past, and I had actually been waiting for Speck to release this case for my 2015 Macbook. Although BestBuy's listing makes this case seem to be fit for a macbook pro, I went with my gut in hopes it would fit Apple's 2015 "new macbook" release, and luckily I was right.

This is a nice, small footprint that provides incredible protection for the MacBook 12 inch model. The clear color allows the beauty of the MacBook to shine thru.

It's been about less than a month since I've had this case and you can see every little scratch on it and the protective feet came off. Yes it does the job on protecting my MacBook but all the tiny scratches that already came with it and the ones added on are very visible. Not only that but the protective feet come off very easily and are all laying in my backpack, so the case doesn't fulfill the job of allowing some space between the surface of the laptop between the table to allow some air flow.

this case is clear, which makes it good to use on the colorful apple laptops. it is a durable case!

Best Buy, you called the 'MacBook' a 'MacBook Pro" in the title and the caption below the photo of the case calls it a 'MacBook Air'. Sloppy. Fix your ad.

I have had my case on my mac book for about four months. The computer sits on my desk and has never left my home. The case has cracked in five places. The material used must be cheap. I do like the color of the case, but that isn't why people buy cases for their computers. This is the only Best Buy purchase that I have ever been disappointed in. I have been on the phone for an hour trying the utilize the one year replacement option. Hope it works! I urge you, even if this case is on sale, do not waste any money on it. This company needs to use better materials.

I love this case! I just recently ordered a MacBook in Rose Gold and did not want to cover the color. The packaging was not in the best shape but the case is great!

This is not my first Speck case for any of my Apple devices. Speck is normally the first place I go, but this case is absolutely terrible. I've had three of them since I upgraded my laptop a year ago, and the third one is crumbling despite normal wear and tear. I honestly don't know if I'll buy a fourth one once this case is beyond repair, but sadly this is the best option out there for the 12" Macbook.

I bought this cover for a laptop that I got for Christmas. Within a month, all sides were cracked and just keep cracking even more. For the case being $50 dollars you expect it to be of good quality.. sadly it's not. Overall, I can say don't buy this case unless you are looking for a case that is going to crack within a month of buying it.

Bought this case about 2 weeks ago for my new MacBook 12 inch. At first it looked very nice and pretty. Very quickly it shows every scratch. But worse is that the top cracked on the hinge side edge. And the rubber feet are always falling off! When not in use this computer is stored in a padded case. How it cracked I don't know but I know I didn't do anything to crack it. For $50 it should last longer.

I really liked this product upon receiving it. However it has been three months with this on my Mac (which is subject to normal daily use) and the corners have chipped off and multiple cracks have appeared. This product was in no way worth the $40 I paid for it.

Purchased a clear shell as well as a sleeve. I used the laptop for about a week and the shell cracked. Definitely not worth the price. I kept the laptop in the sleeve after every use not sure why the shell cracked.
