Surface protection, cracked easily

Did a good job of protecting from superficial scratches etc, but corners cracked when dropped. MacBook did not sustain major damage but corner was dented. Might want to invest in a more shock absorbent option if for a kid or if more careless than typical.

Nice case overall

Overall it does a nice job of protecting the outside from minor dings and bumps and scratches. My one complaint is that the clips didn't engage right away when putting The case on. So other than that minor frustration it's a nice case.

Dusty but good

So far this has protected the MacBook Air great but get dusty easily and somewhat difficult to clean. Still, you can see the Apple symbol through the shell, which is a plus, and the shell protects pretty good.

Quality Cover offering good protection

In the end, I needed to visit the store to see the different models and get tactile impressions to make my decision. I am pleased with this protective cover enough that I didn't mind paying a premium over some of the other offerings.
