Case Cracked Within 2 days

I am very careful with my lap and was so surprised when I found the crack on the right bottom corner of the case. I'm wondering if it came with the crack and I didn't realize it until a couple of days later. It does protect it from minor scratches and bumps, and I have yet to replace it because it seems to do it's job despite the crack.
