I had my computer sitting on my desk for months and on its own with time it contracts the case making it crack in the corners defeating the whole purpose of the case. Will work against scratches but wouldn’t recommend it for impact protection or anything.

I like to take it on and off and the ware and tare from doing so has been making the fit much less secure.
