Sleek Hard Case with Excellent Protection

It snaps on securely and feels very sturdy without adding unnecessary bulk. The hard shell provides great protection from scratches, scuffs, and everyday bumps, which gives me peace of mind when traveling or carrying it around. I also love how slim and clean it looks—it keeps the laptop stylish while staying lightweight. Installation was quick and easy, and it hasn’t loosened over time. Great quality for the price and I would definitely recommend it.

I have had an IPhone for awhile and I figured this snap on case would be similar to a phone case. Ease of installation is where the similarities end. This case is made of a hard plastic. It fits the computer very well. However, it cracks very easily. I read online that snap on cases are not recommended for Macbooks as dust can accumulate underneath and scratch the aluminum shell of the computer over time. In the process of removing the case to clean the shell, one of the corners popped like a windshield in cold weather and an inch long crack appeared. Upon further inspection of all corners, I noticed cracking on each. I have only owned this computer and case for three weeks and have been nothing but careful. I have a computer bag that I transport the computer in. This shell case looks nice but however is not worth $50 in my opinion. The durability is questionable as well. I have read nice things about Macbook protective skins and will probably try those once the cracks on this shell are bigger.

Pretty high price but I believe it is worth it. Love the color as well. This case also allows me to add 50 million stickers with out damaging my computer.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The quality of the case was fine and the material seemed to be good but with the case I purchased, the back of the bottom half did not "clip" onto my MacBook Pro and did not give the feeling of my computer being protected. The top piece of the case, however, clipped into place and felt very secure. At the end of the day, I'm a picky person and for the price tag, did not feel that the item justified the price. It would be nice if Best Buy could get some of the Spigen branded cases for Apple laptops which is what I ultimately ended up going with. I did not bother to take pictures of the case I purchased but the picture included will give a good indication of what my issue was.

It arrived with a scratch across the top, and developed a crack (on a middle edge, not even a corner) after just a week of normal/gentle use. I would recommend Incase over this product – although my Incase shell did crack over several years, it held up longer and I liked that the dot texture hid fingerprints, unlike this Speck shell.
