The shell, in addition to taking care of my computer, gives it an elegant finish, revealing the design of the computer itself. The first one started to crack after about a month or 2 of having it and after that all 4 were eventually cracked.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend 2nd time being replaced under warranty.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cracks from light usage. I do not drop my Mac, and daily use/ temperature change causes warpage. Crack in middle of plastic, clearly not from dropping. (Clear in pic) It is only ever the top piece that warps, NEVER the bottom piece of the case. Quality control on iphone cases seems to be far better than in this department. I've spoken to Speck directly, and replaced the case once already. This will be the second time it is being replaced under the warranty. Do not recommend, coming from a fellow tech advisor.
