buy this protector for a macbook pro because I do not buy the warranty and I want a good case that protects and that is of good quality

I purchased this cover on an impulse. It's nice/functional but not necessarily worth the price. There are a TON of selections and lower prices on Amazon...

I was really worried about scratching my new MacBook but this case pretexts it really well but I can still see the aluminum color which I like because the case is transparent.

This is a hard shell case. Great for shielding your laptop from dents and scratches. This also keeps the surface a little cooler than without it.

The bottom part of the case doesn’t let the adapter completely plug in. So I don’t use the bottom half, it’s to much of a hassle trying to use them both together.

After using the Smart Shell for less than a year it cracked multiple times to where it would not even stay on the computer. Not happy

OK case for medium protection, but returned and replaced with the higher end speck case (stronger corners) more robust case to avoid any damage to the excellent screen/PC.

Nice turquoise color, only too bright for the particular gift recipient who preferred classic laptop look with Apple logo without plastic protector.

This is by far the easiest case to snap onto my MacBook Pro. I don't like getting scratches on my Mac, and this Speck case meets the bill for a DJ.

I purchased this shell in clear to protect my new laptop, but not to look like it was in a case. Easy to snap-on and very satisfied with my purchase.

I bought those case for my Mac. I took the case off the other day to see what my laptop looked like underneath and it was pristine

The speck case was ok to the build was nice, but I didn’t like the texture of the case I ended up returning it, I personally like Incase shells over speck

I love these shell covers. I bought this one for my sons Mac book. I've had mine for 3 years, and my laptop still looks brand new.

I really like these hard shell cases for my MacBook Pro, but to take these things off for any reason is near impossible!

Awesome computer very fast and clear picture. If your looking for a computer this is the one I would get. Wasn't to expensive either.

it is a good case, but not quite what I expected. I thought that the case would have a shiny finish, like the picture appears, but it is actually matte.
